    Try-Outs: Try-outs will be held in two separate sessions. The U12, U13, and U14 try-outs will be held on:
    August 18 6-8PM
    August 19 11-1PM At the FYSA Soccer fields. Sallie will get the labels from Holli and mail out announcement postcards. An ad will be run in the paper 3 times prior to the try-outs (Sunday, Wed, Friday).

Coach Issue
We will be looking to fill coaching slots for the 86 and 84P teams. To attract qualified coaches we may need to consider some stipend for their time and effort. This could be built into the player fee and funds can be designated for coaches development. A concern about limiting the player pool was discussed, as some people cannot afford the additional costs and would be forced to stop playing comp soccer. We discussed putting an ad in the paper for coaches and getting the word out to the soccer community. An article in the newsletter will announce that Eclipse is looking for coaches and give them contact information. After the try-outs we will place an ad in the paper asking for coaches and a summary of their qualifications.

Summer Evaluations
Greg reminded the coaches that evaluations should be complete before the end of the season.

FYSA AGM.
The FYSA AGM is going to be August 29, 2000. Please attend to vote!

Indoor Season
The registration deadline for indoor has not been announced. Some teams are going to request that the high school teams be allowed to stay together, rather than go to the mixed co-ed team format.

AGM
The Eclipse AGM will be on Saturday, October 21, 2000 at the Salvation Army Building. We will again have a pot-luck starting at 5PM and the meeting to start at 6:30. The VP, Treasurer and Registrar positions are up for reelection. TEAMS NEED TO HOLD MEETING TO ELECT THEIR TEAM REPS AND MANAGERS PRIOR TO THE MEETING. PLEASE FORWARD THE RESULTS TO SALLIE STUVEK.

Newsletter
Sallie will put together and mail a Fall newsletter prior to the try-outs on August 18th. Please email her articles for inclusion by August 16th.

Ashley Burgess
Eclipse will be putting a scrap book together for Ashley Burgess. If you have any contributions, please talk to Ron Moore.

Next Board Meeting
The next regular Eclipse board meeting will be held on Friday September 8, at 6:30 PM at the Salvation Army Building off 10th Avenue.
